Very common, with over 4,000 units built and delivered.
Record Flights
Regularly used for popular leisure routes from the UK to Europe & the Mediterranean. Not known for record-breaking flights.
Safety & Events
The 737-800 has an excellent safety record, but has been involved in some notable incidents globally (not specific to this aircraft).
Future Outlook
Many are expected to be gradually replaced by newer 737 MAX models, but still in widespread operation as of 2024.
