Copenhagen Airport, Roskilde is Denmark’s second-largest airport measured by the number of take-offs and landings. The airport serves eastern Denmark and the greater Copenhagen area, with primary traffic consisting of General Aviation (G/A), business aviation, VIP operations, air ambulance services, and private flying. In addition, the airport handles a wide range of special operations, including activities involving both Danish and foreign military aircraft. With five flight schools, Roskilde Airport is also Denmark’s largest aviation training airport and plays a key role in educating future pilots. The airport operates around the clock – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
