Copenhagen Airport, Roskilde is Denmark’s second-largest airport measured by the number of take-offs and landings. The airport serves eastern Denmark and the greater Copenhagen area, with primary traffic consisting of General Aviation (G/A), business aviation, VIP operations, air ambulance services, and private flying. In addition, the airport handles a wide range of special operations, including activities involving both Danish and foreign military aircraft and MRO. With five flight schools, Roskilde Airport is also Denmark’s largest aviation training airport and plays a key role in educating future pilots. The airport operates around the clock – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
