Landing at GSO

Model of a Mitsubishi A6M Zero, the legendary Imperial Japanese Navy fighter of WWII.

Me striking a pose next to the winglet of a CRJ-200. Not my favorite aircraft but it was the only one low enough to the ground for me to get this shot. 😁 Plus my photographer got a bonus departing Gulfstream in the shot.

A rare sight, indeed. Only three Zeros in the world that are in airworthy condition. It’s quite a thing to see one fly.
