An-124 @KSFO. Before this I had only seen a “Condor” once. Her sister landed at KSAN carrying the Russian team’s yacht for the America’s Cup races in 1995. She was quite a sight then, too.

AN124 in Mirabel

Photographed through a frosty fence, this An-124 exemplifies the aircraft's capability to operate in extreme conditions.

UR-82027 carries the 'Be Brave Like Kharkiv' nose artwork in support of Ukraine, reflecting the aircraft's national symbolism. Aircraft was transporting a General Electric GE90 on behalf of Air Canada

The An-124 is often chartered for unique, oversized, or urgent cargo thanks to its cavernous hold and ramp-loading ability.

Distinctive by its high-set cockpit and nose gear, which allow nose-loading of large/heavy freight. The An-124 is often chartered for outsize cargo such as locomotives, turbines, and even other aircraft.
